Many of our clients like to forward email to their ISP email account (example: joesmith@yourdomain.tld > joesmith@aol.com). We have no problem with our clients doing this, however ther is one caveat. If you are going to forward email from your domain to your ISP, you must cease using your ISP's Spam reporting tools. The problem is that some of our clients unknowingly report their own domain as a Spammer. Think about it for a moment. If a spam email is forwarded to your ISP email account from your domain and you report this email as Spam, the ISP will think that your domain and hence our mail server is sending Spam. These actions can lead to our mail server(s) being blocked at your ISP. This means you and others will not be able to send or forward email from our mail server(s) to your ISP.
Please understand this is a very serious matter that we battle with every day. If we find your account is in violation of this policy, we will contact you and instruct you to take action. If no action is taken on your part, we reserve the right to suspend your account.
